Whew! I got my first test back in this A & P class that I am sweating buckets over. My grade was an 81%, which makes it a B. It wasn't the A I was hoping for but I give my self props considering I didn't understand half the stuff we tested on and still managed to squeak by. I have also come to the conclusion that my brain has aged on me when I wasn't looking. Holy buckets is it hard to remember things now, I foolishly believed that I could retain the information like I did when I was 25. Uh, no. Not gonna happen. So now I actually have to apply myself to learning all this stuff. Could prove to be quite entertaining.

Other than school, which takes up quite a bit of my "free" time, I have been hauling Caela to and from her dance classes every night. She had a recital on Feb. 3, this was the first time that she danced in a duet and also the first time that the Jr. Ballet Company performed their dance to Carnival of the Animals. She got to dance the part of a bird, fish, and an elephant. Ironically, when she was in preschool they performed this as a play and she was an elephant then too. Here are a few photos of her performance.

She is the one on the left. This is her duet that she dances with Cassie.

The photo to the right is her as an elephant.

Caela is the green fish. The night of the performance this was the first costume that she was wearing and I forgot what she was supposed to be, so I sat there trying to figure it out. I thought she was a lizard. Wow, was I waaaayy off. ;-D.

She is the orange bird on the far right.

There was one more dance they performed that night. It was called Reverance and it is the dance they perform for their instructor before they leave class as a way to say thank you and goodbye for the night. I can't get the photo to upload though, so I will add it the next time I post.
