Yep, we had 11.9 inches of snow on Thursday, blowing snow caused white out conditions, so a lot of businesses closed early. Pee wee and I picked Caela up from school around 1 p.m., Michael left work around 10 ish and didn't actually make it home until around 12:45 and I think Isaac lucked out and had school cancelled already, so he didn't have to leave his house. Schools were closed on Friday, and by Sunday it was almost 70 degrees, so the snowpile we had in the back yard is now a snow ant hill. You gotta love the weather here in Colorado, temps reach 70 degrees in the winter, and we have blizzards in the Spring. lol News reports say that we will have more isolated snow this week, which means a sprinkling here and there, but it all helps with drought conditions we have during the summer. Here are some photos of the day after.

This last two photos are a hoot. Wheelie ran up to a drift and then steamrolled his way through to get to the fence so he could bark at the dogs next door. He made a path like this on two sides of the yard near the fence. He makes the trail and Maddie follows him. She waits patiently for him to do all of the work. LOL

wow, this is more the weather I expected in Colorado this time of year. Not the warm, sunny, summerclothing pictures weather I saw earlier.
PW looks adorable in her sunglasses. Did you see the pictures of her older Dutch niece (cousine?? never knows which one to use ) at my blog wearing them too??
Hugs,
Petra
