Well, technically it was yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to update the blog until today.
It is hard to believe that she will be one year's old in two months. Holy cow, time has flown.
At her nine month check up, she weighed in at 17 1/2 lbs, and is 27 3/4 long. She has been crawling for a long time and is now attempting to take her first steps. She is a wild child and thinks that she can just wiggle off your lap and start walking away. Not a good sign. lol
She has been saying Mom, Da, and has learned to say Stop. All I will say regarding that new word is that she hears it a lot. It goes a little something like this..
Marisa, stop pulling hair; Pee Wee, stop hitting; Marisa, stop throwing your toys, etc. etc. lol
Caela starts school in 12 days, she will be a sophmore this year. We have been making plans for her 16th birthday party at the end of the month. I'm hoping it doesn't rain, because it will be outside. So keep your fingers crossed.
Michael has a new job, finally. He starts on Sept 1 and will be working for the Department of Energy. Not sure what that all entails, but I am sure it will be a welcome change for him.
As for me, nothing new to report. I am considering taking up my tap classes again this fall. I really missed it.

Time does fly! My dgd is 5 months old! It's been a busy summer for us and I'm sure everyone else. Start dancing--tap those toes!
Congrats to Michael on the new job. I went back to work last month--economy strikes again! I'm working at Archiver's. Will be gong to Guatemala again at the end of Oct. That's all that is new from here.
