She Is Now A "Teenager"....

It's hard to believe that Caela turned 13 on Wednesday. Only five more years until I get to present her with a detailed invoice of how much she will owe me once she graduates from college and gets her first job! I am including room, board, and her never ending dance classes. I am positive that her high school years are really going to add up towards the end, so I should have a nice little nest egg waiting for me. ;-D Here are a few photos I took on her birthday! I thought I would torment her a little by putting her things in a Barbie gift bag and getting her a girly colored cake. I enjoyed it, especially when I made her pose with them. Hee Hee! It's good to be"the Mom."

I made it through my first week of Biology class. We are only on the second chapter and already I feel lost. I recollected rather quickly why I never liked it in high school. It just didn't make sense to me then and it's still foreign to me now. I had a brilliant idea to sit next to the first high school looking guy in the class. I am completely stereotyping with this idea, but I am hoping that since he is a guy and guys are supposed to be good in science and since he looks fairly young, then all of this will make sense to him and he can help explain it to me. Everyone please have your fingers crossed that this theory will work.

I still haven't found my groove yet to make any new layouts, so I made more cards. I have to use up as much of my stash as possible, or else, I will have to move Caela out of the house sooner than I expected to make more room.

Here are a few of the cards that I have made.

Well I hope everyone enjoys their extended weekend. I am looking forward to the Scottish Irish Festival that Michael and I go to every year. Especially since I have a much better camera this year. I can't wait to take loads of photos.
