Well I thought I better start posting again, since I have been told by many of you that I haven't updated in awhile.

What can I say other than its been busy. I have about three weeks left of this semester then I get Christmas break until Jan. 16. WOO HOO!! I am looking forward to it even though I will be spending a lot of this time, rearranging things in the computer room and hopefully, removing carpet and installing laminate flooring in my living room. I hate carpet with a passion, so it's going out the door.

Class has been going very well. I have a 93% grade overall, which is pretty good considering I have not had Biology since the ninth grade. It is much more interesting now. My next class is Anatomy and Physiology. I have heard that the Physiology is harder than the Anatomy, so it will be interesting to see who was correct. I plan on taking the CPA certification courses in the summer, I think it's a four week course, but I can't remember for sure. Then I have at least four or five more pre-reqs to finish before I can begin the Nursing classes. I have to drag these out for the next two years, unless I move up faster on the waiting list. So there's not much of a rush to get them done. I have spoken to a few women that I chat with on SG's board about Nursing and they have given me some great advice.

Caela is doing really well in school, all of her grades have been either A's or B's, like she really has any other options. ;-) She is still dancing up a storm four nights a week and Saturday mornings. Her competitions and performances begin in January, so I will keep you all posted as to the where and when. She is still playing the flute and probably will be until I think she has played off the total price of it. For those of you that don't know the story. There was an option to rent the flute or buy it outright. Well, she and I discussed it and I specifically said, that if I buy it she couldn't quit. She assured me that she desperately wanted to play it and would not quit. Halfway through the year last year, she asked if she could stop and there was a resounding.... NOOOO!!!!! Then I proceeded to remind her of our agreement, hence, she will be playing it for at least another three years.

Let's see, has there been anything exciting that has happened since I last blogged??? Yes, there is... at least it was exciting for me. There was a contest at Scrapgoods, the monthly scrapbooking kit that I get, well this contest was for a guest design team member position for the month of November. Yep, you guessed it, by some miracle in life, I won. It was a lot of fun and I amazed myself with some of the creations I came up with. I will share the LO's the next time I post.
