Tutus, tights, and techniques.......aka Caela's ballet performance.

Can you believe how many posts I have made already? Is it not a shock to you?? It definitely was to me. As you can see I have added a few things as "cheap entertainment" to help you get through the "boring" parts of my blog. If my music offends your ears, not that I have offensive songs or anything, I was thinking more of the screeching guitars and such, there is a little box on the top of the playlist window on the left side of it's screen, feel free to click on it at any time. :-D I wish people came with that little box gizmo option sometimes. Although I think the very first song will draw you in, it's my all time favorite.

I finally decided to get those papers written. Notice the plural?? I originally started off with one paper, while somehow that paper reproduced and I ended up needing to write three. Blech! I put on my BC cap and knocked two out on Saturday, now I only need to get one more done, maybe tomorrow.

Caela also had her ballet performance on Saturday . I think she did an awesome job. She didn't fall, so that is always a plus. Here are a few videos for you to watch. She is the orange bird in the group. this is a piece from Carnival of the Animals. It took me all day to transfer these, and uber nerd that I am, I even used transition effects, so I had better have some major comments from everyone after you all view it. Don't make me remove you from my email list. Winky

The next one is called Snow is in the Air, they first performed it with the Greeley Chorale in December, originally there were two males in the piece, but as you can see they have since vanished. She starts off in the back row second from the right. At the end she is in the front row second from the right. I think this video really shows how much she has progressed and how much more graceful she has become.

The last one you will see for today is also part of Carnival of the Animals. She is the green fish in the group. The total piece for COTA is actually about 40 minuntes long, but I only uploaded the sections that she performed in. The Ballet Co. will perform this in local schools in the next couple of months.

So there you go and once again I exhibit my computer genius, I just amaze myself. Laugh

Hope you enjoyed them. I am off to see if I can fall asleep, as you can tell it's late and I am wide awake. Again.
