Holy High Definition Batman!!

I never realized how many different types of digital camcorders are out there. I have been doing some research on them and now have a dazed and confused look on my face. I started off thinking that I would get a JVC, then moved from them to a Canon, and finally have settled on a Sony. I checked and double checked capability and then compared three models to each other to see which would give me the best optical, lighting, HD/SD capabilities, etc. etc. I ended up learning more than I wanted. When I picked Caela up from school, I decided to stop off at Circuit City to ask some questions and get answers that I couldn't find online. Needless to say, I knew more about the HD (high-definition) camcorders then the sales guy that was helping me. Let's just say my nerdiness reared it's ugly head. I remember giggling behind my hand at people like that in high school! When I wasn't looking, I became one of them!!! Oh well! What can I say, I did the same thing when I bought my car, my camera, and all of my other nerdly toys. Can't change what works, Right?!

Moving onto other things, I didn't fail my math test like I thought I did. Although, I did make a really dumb mistake on one question. I made it waaaay harder then it needed to be, suffice it to say, when I left class on the test day, I was kicking myself all the way to the car. That was kind of tricky to do, since I have a bad right knee. I am still undecided whether I like my Anthropology class, it's interesting, but not really up my alley. Hopefully, I will have a different opinion by mid term, if not, it's going to be one loooooong semester.

I did finish up a few things on Friday of last week. They are in the slideshow at the bottom of the blog, but for those of you that are on a time crunch, I will post them for you.
The photos are from our trip to Canada! I have taught Caela well, she knows what the sentence, go stand by the....... means. It's good to have an indentured photo model because then I get to mess with my camera all I want. I used some wonderful Christmas/Birthday gifts from my friend Vanessa B, the blonde California one. FYI, I have two friends named Vanessa B, the only difference between the first names is an "S". Very confusing sometimes, I have to proofread whenever I am writing to either of them. Okay, that was probably TMI huh!

These are Canada photos too Ay! I forced Michael and Isaac to pose for me also. No one is safe when I have my camera in hand. They tried to run, but I was persistant and in the end I prevailed. Whining is a fabulous weapon!

And last but not least, another card. The bird is actually raised off a little to give it more of a dimensional look, kind of hard to see because it was squished when I scanned it.

Thus concludes my most exciting week. It's Friday, which means I get to go play now. Byee!
