I finally kicked myself in the butt to get my assigments done for my Anthro class, I started the week off needing to complete 12, well in the last two days I have managed to get six done. I will finish the remaining six in the next two days. Am I BSing my way through these you ask???? Yep, you betcha, wouldn't have it any other way. I never thought in a million years that I would ever say that I enjoyed both my A & P professor and class more than I do right now. At least I knew what Maxine was talking about in A & P, most days I spend my time in my Anthro class blinking and appearing as though I understand what is going on. But there are only two more class days left next week and then I get my freedom. (said in my best Scottish accent) "You can take away my "A", but you can't take away my freedom." (a little twist to the quote from Braveheart)
Caela has two in school ballet performances this week, one was today and she will visit two schools tomorrow in Loveland. Which means, we will have to get up and be gone by 8 a.m. This is going to be a feat since I can barely drag my ever increasing buns out of bed by 7:30. I plan on appearing like a Japanese tourist complete with camera and video recorder in hand, so I will make sure to post whatever I come back with, I am sure Caela will be so excited. She gets annoyed with my constant photo taking sometimes.
On a different note, I am experiencing guilt right now. We put up this ivy garland and this huge honkin egg garland up for Easter, well I have been telling Caela for a hundred years to take it down and she finally did. Well, low and behold, a little sparrow made its nest along the garland and door, so when Caela took the eggs down, the nest started to droop. I didn't want to rip it down cause the bird obviously went to a lot of work to get it made, so I called Michael to come and help me figure out a way to prop it up. He hasn't had a chance to come and help me rescue it, and it's beginning to droop a little more each day. When I came home yesterday morning, I saw the little bird couple at the door by the nest. I am pretty sure the Momma bird was ripping the heck outta the Daddy bird, cause there was an awful lot of chirping going on. I called Michael again today to give him an update on the bird and begged and pleaded to get here when he can so we can fix it. I don't want to be responsible for any domestic violence acts being committed to the Daddy bird by the Momma bird. Keep your fingers crossed that we are able to save it, so they can have their babies soon. I'm pretty sure the Momma is having a hard time keeping her little legs crossed. lol
