Whew! We've made it to 12 weeks. The baby's heart rate was 170 and I now weigh 115.6 lbs. Not to bad, considering I weighed around 110-112 before I became pregnant. I know now that I am an O+ blood type, for some reason I thought I was A+!? I know tmi, but I thought I better write it somewhere or else I will forget again.
Things have been going well, my morning sickness has been worse the last few weeks, but I think I have figured out why. I may be lactose intolerant! This means I have to take calcium supplements to ensure that my levels are where they need to be. BLECH!! more vitamins that I have to try to choke down.
We will have the anatomical ultra sound in two months, keep your fingers crossed that the baby will cooperate and let us see his/her parts, that way we can be prepared to either buy blue or pink clothes.
I haven't felt any movement yet, but then again, I may have and not known for sure what it was. I do remember the flutter feeling with the boys and Caela, so I will be paying attention the next couple of weeks for it.
On a different note. I have about four weeks left of classes, I actually enjoy my icky math class better than my anthropology class. I even passed a test with an A! If that is not a miracle upon miracle, then I don't know what is. I still haven't motivated myself into writing the now "seven" papers that I need to get done. I yelled at myself and plan on getting them done next week. I am my own worst enemy, I can talk myself out of getting things done really well, who needs peer pressure. LOL I will get them done, I'm not a complete slacker.
Caela has a few in school performances this month for Jr. Ballet Co. Most of them are in surrounding cities, although she does get to go back and perform at St. Mary's Catholic School, she attended grades two and three there. I will be able to attend all but one performance, so I hope to get some good video footage of her.
I still haven't created anything with paper, I have all these ideas, I just need to motivate myself into getting them started. I have four more pages to fill in James' baby book, so I WILL get those done before his 2nd Birthday. I should be trying to get as many things made as I can, considering my creative time will be limited after Oct. But I really love to sleep and it's impossible to make anything wonderous when you fall asleep on it.

Lief zusje and co-pregnant woman,
sorry to hear you are lactose intolerant. But well done on the weight gain. I know I gained much more weight during the first 12 weeks.
Hugs,
Pet, your own Dutch Sis and Fes.
