So how did you all ring in the New Year? I was asleep by 11:00, but I woke up again around 12:10, so I kind of made it. We didn't do anything special, usually we rent movies and snack til our little stomachs can't take it anymore, but we skipped that this year. I think Caela stayed up and read the first book of the Twilight series that she got for Christmas. (btw, it's a good series, I am on the last book right now) Even the weenies called it an early night around 10:00. I thought for awhile that Pee Wee was going to stay up til midnight, she was chattering and babbling away for the longest time before she finally fell asleep.
What resolutions have you all made for 2009? I planned on getting back on track with my vegetarian/organic diet again, it sort of got pushed to the wayside during the pregnancy. I also plan on cutting down on my scrap spending, I have a crap load of stuff that I need to use and little time to use it in, so there's no realistic reason why I need more. There are a few more, but those are on the top of the list.
I hope 2009 is a stellar year for you all and that things get back on track once again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Love the picture!!!
AWE, LOVE the new header!!
Glad things are back to normal now. DH is back at work, Hayden is back in school and DS & DIL are gone. NOW I'M READY TO PLAY. I'll buzz you later or buzz me when you have a min.
Miss YA!
Happy New Year to you, too!! I, too, have made the usual "eat healthier" resolution and exercise more. Keep up with printing, saving, and dating my photos, and that's about it, really. Both of which I made last year and failed, so this year- FOR REAL! ;)
Happy Newyear (Gelukkig Nieuwjaar)!
My new years resolution is to get some weightloss. I want to be back at the weight I was when I visited you. Still about 10 pounds over it.
We went to Putten (it is a small village in the center of the Netherlands, surrounded by forrest) with my inlaws. We watched the locals shooting carbid out of milk cans (those huge ones). They put carbid in it, with some water. Close the lid of the milk can and then warm the milk can with fire on a stick. Due to the gas that is formed inside the lid will be blown away with a big bang.
Julia wasn't afraid at all :)
During xmas she turned from her back to her belly. When we were in Putten she sat for the very first time in a child stool and ate her first fruit puree (?sp), it was pear and she loves it.
Still have a month before I have to go back to work. But she will be going to daycare for the very first time this friday. It will be hard for me to let her go for a day.
Hugs and miss ya too
