Patience is a Virtue...

obviously, one that Marisa hasn't learned yet. We went to pick up my car last night and suffice it to say, she wasn't impressed. Michael stayed with her and from what I gathered, she was not a happy camper. I don't know exactly what she did, aside from scream her head off, because Michael wasn't saying much to me by the time I finished with the dealer. He had a harried look about his face and I'm pretty sure he was contemplating abandoning us. I think he finally understood what I had been telling him for some time now, about how Marisa can't stand her car seat or car rides. All I know is that this was the first time that I have ever seen Michael drive so fast, usually he drives like an old lady, but he was hauling butt back to Greeley. lol

Anyhoo, we got the car last night, it has to go back next week to have one of the door sensors fixed. Not sure exactly what that means yet, but the dealer knew that it wasn't working correctly, so as long as one of us knows about it than it's all good. Here are two photos that I nabbed off the dealer's website.

It's different driving a small car again, and this one is all wheel drive, so that is taking some getting used to but so far I really like it. Especially when I put Marisa in and out of the car seat. I no longer get strangled by the seat belt, or have the front seat slam me upside the head. I'm old, I need all the working brain cells that I have, can't lose them to brain damage ya know. lol

OMG, LOVE THIS CAR!!! WTG on finding a good deal on the Passat. Is it as fun to drive as the Jetta?"

Poor, Poor, Michael. Think he learned anything from this experience?

This car is like a rocket, with all the gadgets, it has climate control, rain sensor, heated seats, etc. etc. It drives waaay nice!! I can zip around everywhere now and don't feel like I am driving a bus anymore. I haven't driven a Jetta, but I would imagine that it is just as fun, it's smaller than the Passat, but would suck on snow since they are only FWD. I likey my Passat!!! Have you and DH decided on whether to get the Jetta or still leaning towards the Prius??

As for Michael, yep! He understands much better now!

Great car! Congrats!
As far as Marisa hating her car seat and rides could she possibly be getting car sick? It's good for Michael--he needs to share the pain!
