I was daring and took photos of Marisa for her 6 week landmark yesterday. She did surprisingly well for a baby with attitude. Caela and I were sweating our butts off because I made sure it was really warm for Marisa since she was only in her diaper, I'm pretty sure I lost a couple of pounds moving around while snapping pictures.
I know that Rina will ask, so here is what I did. I bought satin material at Hobby Lobby and used it as a backdrop for these photos. I know what I will be putting on my Christmas list this year for once, a background holder and some muslin backgrounds, usually I have no idea what to put down. I used my speed light, since the sun wasn't shining as brightly into the room this time around. Mental note, when using a black background, make sure you use LOTS of light, you'll need it. Used my 55-300 tamron and 100 mm macro lenses, used the bounce filter and the other filter on the speed lens, can't remember what it's called at the moment. Also had to use double sided tape to attach the wings to her back. Thankfully, no back hair was harmed in the taking of these photos. HA!!
Michael says the photos of her with the halo are an oxymoron. heh heh!
Patti, as for her hating car rides, I don't think she gets car sick, I think it has more to do with the fact that no one is sitting in the back seat with her. She does fine when someone sits back there with her, but the minute she realizes that she is alone, she starts screaming like a banshee. Like I said before, she's a little on the high maintenance side. lol

OMGosh, I can't believe that you took these.....THEY ARE AWESOME!! A photographer couldn't have done better. I love the one with her noonie and she has her head tilted. I also love the one with her sleeping with a BIG PINK BOW on her butt. They are all wonderful!
gorgeous, gorgeous. could you fly over here and take jack's 4 year portraits? :)
Amazing photos!!! You are good! I guess it's a good thing she isn't getting car sick but not so good that she wants constant attention but then she is of royalty and they can be a little demanding. Look forward to the next photos!
Blessings!
