here in CO. It was hotter than hell yesterday, so I spent most of my time inside reorganizing my scrappy things and just trying to keep cool. I seriously considered going to the local swimming pool and just lying in the baby pool like a walrus for a few hours, but decided I didn't want to scare off any little children.
It's cooler today, so I didn't have to worry about keeping cool. DD and I went to Ft. Collins, picked up my vitamins and stopped off at the scrap store. I have thrown the idea of driving to Westminster to the Archiver's store, but it's about an hour away, and I get really sleepy when driving for more than 20 minutes.
I made a card for Michael's stepdad's birthday today, it was quick and to the point, I don't like it all that much, but then again, I am my own worst critic.
Oh yeah, I tore my house apart yesterday trying to find my check book. It's not an account I use for more than just a direct deposit, so I had to call and get the direct deposit changed over to my "active" account, then I had to go and close the lost check book account this morning. I had the damn book last month, but for the life of me I cannot find it this month, it's not in the usual place that I put it. Just one of the many side effects of pregnancy that I am dealing with, Sh!+ for brains.
Tomorrow is my ultrasound, YAY!! Hoping that everything looks okay with the baby, and that we get to find out if it's a boy or girl. The bassinet that I want is finally in stock again, so I will probably order that next week. DD is excited to find out what sex the baby is so we can go shopping, I think because she will try to add a few things in the shopping cart for herself too. lol That kid likes to shop! She hates going with me though, cause I go in with blinders, get what I need, and then get the hell out as fast as I can. She likes to browse! Blech!
Alrighty, I am off to walk the weiners and lounge. Will update with the info from tomorrow's appointment asap.

Sorry to hear about the heat...sucks especially when your pregnant....I was pregnant the WHOLE summer with Tom and we had no AC...OMG!!!! DO you have AC? Girl just get alittle baby pool for yourself stick in the backyard...my sister in law did that thru her summer pregnancy..she didn't care...hey then you don't have to worry about scaring off the kiddies..lol. I love the father's day card you made!!!
yeah do what Rina said. Get a baby pool for the back yard and lounge. I have to do that occasionally with my brats. Anxious to hear the details about the baby.

Like I told you before, if it is a girl she would make a great penpal to our daughter. If it is a boy, I will make my daughter wed your son, since then I know for sure it would be a good boy (and I like the parents ) haha lol
