Cute Jeans and a NOT so Cute Spider!

Aren't these the cutest little jeans you have ever seen. They are one of the items that Caela and I bought at the outlet mall over the weekend. I can't get over how teeny tiny they are and I can't wait to see what she will look like wearing them.

I have to take Caela to Ft. Collins today to get new pointe shoes, her other pair are still new, but somewhere along the line in the last six months her foot grew, so now they are too tight. She has her audition tomorrow night for Jr. Ballet Co., originally auditions are on August 9th, but we are going to be in Denver that day, so I asked her instructor if we could arrange a different day for her to try out. Keep your fingers crossed that she does an awesome job.

It's been in the high 90's, low 100's here for the last week, so we haven't been out and about too much. Just cleaning up around the house and I've been scrapping here and there, I finished another layout and today I am going to work on the request from Rina and get it sent to her before we leave. I need to go to the PO in the next couple of days, so I have that earmarked for tomorrow or Friday morning.

Moving along to the super gross part of my title. I asked DD to bring the trash can into the garage (stupid HOA rule, trash cans cannot be visible from the street) so she goes out and opens the garage door. I'm in my bedroom and after about 5 minutes I ask myself 'what in the heck is taking her so long', just as I was getting up to go and look, I hear the back door open and she comes running in and asks for my camera. I ask why, she says I have to wait until she gets the photo. So I give it to her and she comes back with these. The black one is the female and the smaller, brown one is a male. He was sitting by the egg sac, probably watching tv when he should have been taking care of the babies.

Now some of you remember about three years ago, when I saw one of these in the garage, I almost puked right on it (I've never had a reaction like that and found out the next day that I was pregnant, so that explained it). We saw one about a year ago at our front door, and I saw a dead one this spring, so I was hoping that they were just random incidents. Well, that dudette above was one of THREE that DD saw, complete with babies and eggs in the corner of the garage. GROSS!!!!! She said she sprayed the hell out of them with spider killer, but now I am going to clean everything out of the garage and have the bug people come and spray the entire surroundings down. I soooo hate spiders, snakes I can handle, bugs (except cockroaches) I can handle, lizards, frogs, etc., I can handle, BUT I DON'T DO SPIDERS!!!! Especially big ugly black ones that have poison spit. DD was grossed out too, which doesn't happen often for her with spiders, and she was too afraid to take photos of the two with all the babies, so no photos of those. I did ask her how big the babies were and she said they were the size of a mini brad, they even have the little red hourglass on them. Blech! I'm giving myself the willies just typing this up and thinking about it.

Alrighty gotta go feed my renter and get the day started. I know, it's almost eleven, but technically I started the day twice, once this morning at 4 and then again at 9.

Love the jeans. Can't wait to see her in them.

I HATE THOSE pesky LIL CRITTERS. If I remember correctly, this was about the time of year that you saw the one that prompted me to send one to you in the mail.

Hi Sis,
those Jeans are way too cute. Can't wait to see my CO niece in it.
Hope your renter is doing ok. Have fun laying at the pool in your preggy swimsuit.

Jeepers Kreepers for the spiders. I am so glad they weren't around last year when I was at your place, since I HATE spiders. I am afraid of them, especially those poisoned ones.

Hugs,
ps. did you receive the pictures of your Dutch niece?
