Living in Hades

It's been hotter than he!! the last couple of days, and wouldn't you know it my damn AC went out again yesterday. I knew I should have just had them look at it the last time but I voted against myself and now I am sweltering in the house. Hopefully, the AC guy will get here before my alotted time, otherwise, I am going to spend the majority of the day in my shower.

We had our follow up appointment with the dr yesterday, after the minor scare we had two weeks ago. He said everything looked fine, but that if I have anything like that happen again, to give them a call. I have to go and get the glucose testing done in the next two weeks, not looking forward to drinking the glucose AT ALL!! blech. I was so happy that I hadn't been having contractions or tightening of any kind since then, but my excitement was short lived. I spent most of last night dealing with them, not nearly as bad as that one time, but uncomfortable just the same. I think the fact that it was so hot in the house may have triggered them. All I know is that I had a fan blowing cool air on me all night and I was still miserable. I am sweating buckets right now as I type this. I planned on going to the grocery store this morning real quick, now I think I will take my time around the frozen foods section. Think they would mind an almost 24 week pregnant women sitting inside the frozen vegetable freezers eating a popsicle?

Michael flew back from NY yesterday and made it to our appointment. He reassured me that it was a good thing I didn't go with him, because he knew it would have been horrible for me, thus, horrible for him. He described NY and NJ for me, seeing as the only place I have ever been to on the east side of the US is the airport in Philly. I can't wait to see the video and photos he took, so I can see for myself what it is like, at least until I make it out there.

Alrighty, I can't take it in this room any longer, so this will be short. I gotta get to an AC'd place soon or I am gonna go ballistic.

Keep cool wherever you all are today.

Dear Sis,
hugs to you and I hope your personal Hades would be over soon.
Love the picture of William / Wilhelmina.
Right now it is here like a kind of Hades, just today (temperatures of 30 degrees Celcius), but tomorow it will be 10 degrees lower.
Only have 10 days to go until due date, but I am so sick and tired of this belly and the lack of sleeping. Unfortunately for me our little girl feels too comfy inside me, so she still refuses to go out and look at her new crib and all. Did you see the pictures of my nursery, my belly and our crib at my blog?
Oh, you can expect any day soon the postman at your door with a package for you to sign.

Hugs,
Petra
