First Day of School

I cannot believe that Caela is in the 9th grade. She had her first day on Thursday, so I made sure to take some photos to commemorate the occassion.

She said that quite a few kids from last year transferred to the public schools, but there were a lot of new kids. After being grounded for the entire summer, I am hoping that she learned her lesson and will take her grade more seriously this time. If not, then she will get grounded again, and I will make her wait until she is 17 to get her driver's license. She was supposed to take driver's ed classes this summer, but it was contingent upon how well she did in school, suffice it to say, she has to wait until next summer to take them. I know, sucks to be my kid, but the way I see it, if she can't be responsible enough to get decent grades, then she's not responsible enough to drive a car.

I will be 31 weeks on Saturday, it's hard to believe that I "technically" have nine weeks left until my renter is evicted. Some days it feels like it has been forever, other days it feels as though I just began. I am getting really eager to see who she resembles the most and whether or not she will have dimples, hazel eyes, and hair. I hope these next weeks fly by.

Vanessa, the embossing icing is like stencil paste. I planned on playing with it this week, but my anal tendencies had me reorganizing my ribbons and the billion white drawers that I have in my scrappy room instead. I even had Caela reorganzing my glimmer mist in alphabetical order. I will take photos of the shelves when I get a chance. Plus, I shredded more mail and such too. But I have designs on Monday and Tuesday of next week to play with my stuff. Michael will be in Washington all next week, so I have to keep myself entertained. It's a tough job to do. lol

Wow!!! Time is flying! I'm posting to 2 posts here...

I'm glad your contractions stopped. It must've been the water that helped. Even though you don't want to pee, still should drink the water! LOL! I remember those days.

Caela looks so cute in her school outfit! Cait. has something similar, but there are leggings attached to the skirt, and she's got this really cool black shirt she tried on with the outfit... I'll have to take a picture the next time she wears it.
Wish Caela luck this year...
Hugs!

Caela is a very pretty young lady! Our son has spent most of the summer buggin' about a license too and we told him his grades have to improve or he will be 19 and on foot still! He just turned 16 this year but we just can't trust him to pass biology so I don't see why he thinks he is going to get a car!

Congrats on 31 weeks...only 9 to go and then the real fun begins! I hope the next 9 weeks are smooth for you.

What a cute outfit and a cute girl (like her mama). :)

I can't wait to see what you do with all your new fun goodies. :)

Wow- 31 weeks! When I was 31 weeks, I had just turned 31 and had gained 31 pounds. ha!

btw! I keep meaning to email you and forget, because well... you know how I am, so while I'm here thinking about it.... are you registered for baby stuff? If not, would you send me a list of stuff you NEED. I could go crazy buying cute girlie clothes and stuff, but would like to be practical, too, you know. ;)

Ang, you gotta take pics of Cait in her outfit, I wanna see. I know I should drink more water, and I try, but it's difficult to move my girth around when I am half asleep. lol

Liz, thank you for the comment about the girl. I always tease her when she asks me how she looks. I tell her she's hideous and I have to avert my eyes for safe keeping. lol. I don't understand why it's so difficult for these kids to get decent grades, it's not like we're asking them to build a rocket or anything. Hoping that she learned her lesson though, cause I don't want to shuttle her around when she's 21.

V. LOL on the triple 31 for you, the odds of that happening are pretty slim, so you should have received a prize or something. My #'s aren't as pretty, I'm 35, 31 weeks, and gained 21 lbs. I do have a baby registry, I will email it to you in a few. And I know what you mean about emailing, I have a million emails I need to answer, but no motivation to do it.

Sorry to those I haven't responded to in the last few weeks. I'll try to get my butt back in gear soon.
