Computer Genius....

Okay, so maybe that is stretching it a bit, but I did install a new pci card in my computer today. I needed some more hi speed usb ports so I hauled myself to Office Depot and bought the one I needed. Now I can upload my videos much faster and burn dvd's faster, and I have two back up hard drives. The back of my modem looks like an octupus with all of the cords hanging from it, but I am a happy clam once again. Although, my happiness was short lived. My printer/scanner was being a beotch, and I had to uninstall and reinstall both printers to get the "testy" one working. I CANNOT live without my scanner or else I would have just left it. Now the world is right once again, and I can scan the layout I am working on when I finish.

I did label the octopus cords, thought it might be easier to connect and disconnect things that way. Next week I have to clean off the desk and shred the million pounds of paper that I need to get rid of, I am a procrastinator in things like that, and then it comes back and bites me in my growing butt.

As for the baby front, I was worried that I wasn't gaining enough weight and that I really didn't have much of an appetite last week. I finally was able to see myself in a full length mirror today and I don't have to be worried. I'm starting to look like Cartman from South Park, and I have been hungry more this week, as a matter of fact, I am right this mintue stuffing my face as I type. Craving tofu today..... YUM! My dear sweet friend Vanessa sent me her "chunky monkey" clothes when she was pregnant, so I don't have to worry about running around nekkid this summer. At four months, I already weigh the same amount that I did when I was nine months pregnant with Chance 13 years ago. But I guess you have to keep in mind that I was a whole whopping 93 lbs then and I weighed more than that at the beginning of this pregnancy.

Other than baking the bun, there's not much going on. I have been looking at baby furniture and such. Trying to figure out what type of bassinet would work in the room, etc. etc.

BTW, Rina. I will send your RAK out tomorrow. My dumb butt keeps forgetting to go to the PO, I will sticky note a message to self tonight and tape it to the steering wheel. Gotta do that these days or else I am screwed.
